This calligraphy artwork presents the first revelation of Quran (Surah Alaq 96:1-5). The word ‘Iqra’ is calligraphed in a bright sunshine to emphasize the importance of gaining knowledge and how it can bring light to our life.

In my artwork, I have used modern calligraphy script in the cave of Hira, Dewani script in the 1st Ayah and Thulus script in Ayahs 2-5. By using three different calligraphy scripts, this painting beautifully captures the powerful message of unity within the Muslim Ummah. It envisions a world where Muslims come together for a common cause, showcasing the strength and beauty that unity brings.
